Federal Pell Grants
Pell Grants are the foundation of federal student financial aid, which can be added to other federal and nonfederal fund sources. Pell Grants are generally awarded to undergraduate students who haven’t earned a bachelor’s or graduate degree.
Unlike loans, Federal Pell Grants don’t have to be repaid unless you are awarded funds incorrectly or you withdrew from school.

The American Legion
The American Legion was chartered and incorporated by Congress in 1919 as a patriotic veterans organization devoted to mutual helpfulness. It is the nation’s largest wartime veterans service organization, committed to mentoring youth and sponsorship of wholesome programs in our communities, advocating patriotism and honor, promoting strong national security, and continued devotion to our fellow servicemembers and veterans.
Sport Clips Help A Hero Scholarship
The VFW’s “Sport Clips Help A Hero Scholarship” provides service members and veterans with the financial assistance they need to complete their educational goals without incurring excessive student loan debt. It’s just another way for us to say “thank you” to those who fought for our freedoms.
- Scholarships of up to $5,000 will be awarded to qualified applicants.
- Awarded scholarships are limited to one per family per semester.
- Applications for the fall semester will be accepted January 1 through April 30.
- Applications for the spring semester will be accepted August 1 through November 15.
- Fall semester scholarships will be awarded in August, and spring semester scholarships will be awarded in January.
- Scholarships must be used by the end of the school semester for which the veteran is applying or they will become null and void.
- Scholarships are restricted to tuition and fees only and will be paid directly to accredited schools.
AMVETS, which is also known as American Veterans, is the largest and oldest veterans service organization that is open to and fights for all veterans and their families.

Marine Corps League
Members of the Marine Corps League join in camaraderie and fellowship for the purpose of preserving traditions. Promoting the interests of the United States Marine Corps, banding together those who are now serving in the United States Marine Corps and those who have been honorably discharged from that service.
SCHOLARSHIP PURPOSE, ELIGIBILITY & REQUIREMENTS FOR 2017
PURPOSE – To provide Scholarship Grants to qualified applicants who are pursuing an undergraduate degree, and will be enrolled as a full time student (12 semester hour minimum) in the upcoming academic year 2017 Fall Semester and is attending an accredited undergraduate institution. The MCL Scholarships will only be awarded for a maximum of four (4) years and must be reapplied for each year (These Grants do not have to be in consecutive years).
Science Ambassador Scholarship
A full–tuition scholarship for a woman in science, technology, engineering, or math.
